Services

Wishful Events provides Events Planning, Events Styling, Balloons and Hire Items.

When booking one of our packages you get hire, delivery and set up of all items listed. All prices and details of your party will be listed in your quotation following our initial contact. Once you have confirmed your booking and paid your deposit then you will be booked in.

We will require a minimum of two hours for set up, once the party is finished we can come and collect all items. 

Please note unless stated otherwise, we only provide the events styling and set up. No food is supplied unless your booking our donut wall or dessert table in which we work with our trusted suppliers to provide us with our delicious sweet treats. 

We are DBS checked and comply with health and safety regulations when working at our events.

We have 5 million public liability insurance with Aviva. We are also members of the Balloon and Party Industry Alliance (BAPIA).

Hire Items 

The hire items are the property of Wishful Events at all times. The hirer will remain responsible during the duration of the hire agreement. 

Hire items will be delivery and collected for a small fee depending on location.

Adults must supervise children at all times to avoid breakages. Please handle all items with care. 

We will need a refundable security deposit as specified in the description of  each package or hire item to cover costs of any damage to our items whilst in your possession.  

Booking

We require a minimum order of £250 in order to book with us. A non-refundable 50% deposit, a security deposit and a completed booking form or email confirmation will be taken in order to secure your booking. This will be considered acceptance of our terms and conditions.

We will require your remaining balance 4 weeks prior to your booking if the balance is not paid we will cancel your booking.  

Should you book within the 4 weeks prior to your event date then a full balance will be required when completing and returning your bookings form.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel your event for whatever reason we will require written notice 15 days before your event. 

Please note the following terms of cancellation; 

Prior to party date we will keep:

  • 8 weeks; 50% of total party balance

  • 4 weeks; 75% of total party balance

  • 14 days; 100% of total party balance

In the event of illness or serious injury to our clients we will try our best to reschedule the party at no additional cost. 

If we are working with other vendors we are not liable for their fees and you will need to speak to them directly to discuss any issues with them. 

In the event that Wishful Events has to cancel your booking, due to unforeseen circumstances such as illness or extreme weather conditions, your deposit and final payment will be refunded in full.

Photography

We photograph all our events for our website, social media and marketing purposes. No photos will be taken of the children and used without their parents' permission without signing a written consent form.  

Purchases

We have a selection of items for sale. Some items are custom made and personalised to suit the customer's requirements. 

All items will be posted to you within 3-5 working days unless you have added a special request. All items will be shipped for the price stated on website or order form. Special requests will be priced separately and added to your purchase.  

Refunds

All items are refundable within 14 days of purchase, in its original condition and packaging. Except for perishable items such as sweets or chocolate and personalised items. Buyer will have to pay for postage when returned. Please label and package items clearly and place your order number, name and address within the package. If items have been damaged in transit please provide us with a photo and we can send you a replacement or issue you with a full refund. Please note that any damage caused by you is non refundable.
