1. Our Services

Wishful Events provides Events Planning, Events Coordination and fully hosted Craft Parties.

All services, pricing and event details will be outlined within your personalised quotation. A booking is confirmed once payment has been received in accordance with the terms below.

We are DBS checked and hold £5 million public liability insurance with Aviva. All services are delivered in accordance with current health and safety regulations.

​We are also members of the Balloon and Party Industry Alliance (BAPIA).

​​2. Craft Parties

Wishful Events Craft Parties are professionally hosted creative experiences delivered by trained team members.

Each package includes:

  • Delivery of agreed materials and equipment

  • Set up of styled craft stations

  • Guided instruction and supervision throughout the session

  • Pack down and tidy of the craft area

Activities may include decorating bags, jackets, accessories and other creative items as specified in your quotation.

Important

  • Children must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult over 18.

  • Clients must inform us in advance of any allergies or additional needs.

  • We are not liable for staining or damage to clothing caused by paints, inks, glue, embellishments or heat application processes. Suitable clothing should be worn.

  • Finished craft items become the responsibility of the client once taken home.

Where heat presses or specialist equipment are used, these will be operated by Wishful Events staff only.

Any deliberate misuse of materials or damage to equipment may result in additional charges.

3. Events Planning & Coordination

For Events Planning and Coordination services, Wishful Events may:

  • Develop concepts and themes

  • Source and liaise with suppliers

  • Assist with logistics and timelines

  • Oversee agreed elements on the event day

Wishful Events acts as planner and coordinator only. We are not liable for the performance, delivery or conduct of third-party suppliers.

Where contracts or payments are made directly between the client and external suppliers, responsibility remains between those parties.

4. Venue & Access

The client is responsible for ensuring the venue is ready and accessible at the agreed time, including:

  • Adequate space for craft set up

  • Safe working conditions

  • Suitable tables and seating (unless provided by us)

  • Clear access for loading and unloading

Any parking fees, permits or fines incurred during installation are the responsibility of the client.

If access is restricted or the venue is not suitable upon arrival, Wishful Events reserves the right to delay or refuse service. In such cases, refunds may not be issued.

5. Safety & Conduct

A responsible adult must remain present throughout the event.

Clients are responsible for guest behaviour. Wishful Events reserves the right to stop activities deemed unsafe.

We do not accept liability for injury resulting from misuse of materials or failure to follow instructions.

6. Waiver & Allergies

Participation in Wishful Events Craft Parties involves the use of various materials, including (but not limited to) glues, adhesives, paints, inks and embellishments.

By booking and attending a craft party, the client acknowledges and accepts that:

  • Some materials used may cause skin irritation or allergic reactions in sensitive individuals.

  • It is the client’s responsibility to inform Wishful Events in advance of any known allergies, sensitivities or medical conditions affecting any participant.

  • A waiver/consent form may be required to be completed prior to the event, particularly where children are participating.

Wishful Events will take reasonable care in selecting materials suitable for general use; however, we cannot guarantee that all materials are hypoallergenic.

Wishful Events shall not be held liable for any allergic reactions, skin irritations or sensitivities arising from the use of materials during the workshop.

If any irritation occurs during the event, participation should stop immediately and a responsible adult must be informed.

7. Booking & Payments

Minimum booking value: £185.

Craft Parties

Craft Parties must be paid in full at the time of booking in order to secure the event date.

Full payment confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

Events Planning & Coordination

To secure your date we require:

  • A non-refundable 50% deposit

  • Completed booking form or written confirmation

The remaining balance is due 4 weeks prior to your event.

Bookings made within 4 weeks of the event require full payment upon confirmation.

Failure to pay balances by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking.

8. Cancellations & Date Changes

Craft Parties

  • A full refund will be given if cancellation is made 4 weeks or more prior to the event date.

  • If cancellation is made within 4 weeks of the event, 50% of the total balance will be retained.

  • If cancellation is made within 14 days of the event, 100% of the total balance will be retained.

Events Planning & Coordination

  • 8 weeks prior: 50% of total balance retained

  • 4 weeks prior: 75% retained

  • 14 days prior: 100% retained

Date changes requested more than 14 days before the event are subject to availability and an £80 administration fee.

If Wishful Events must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, all monies paid will be refunded in full.

9. Force Majeure

Wishful Events cannot accept responsibility or pay any compensation where the performance or prompt performance of the booking is prevented or affected by reason of circumstances which amount to “force majeure”. Circumstances amounting to “force majeure” include any event which we could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. Such circumstances include the destruction or damage of the location set for the booking (which cannot reasonably be remedied to a satisfactory standard before the start of your stay) through fire, flood, explosion, storm or other weather damage, break-in, criminal damage, riots or civil strife, industrial action, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, war or threat of war, actual or threatened terrorist activity, epidemic and all similar situations beyond our control. It is explicitly agreed that an event of force majeure suspends execution of the reciprocal obligations for Wishful Events and the hirer, and that each party shall pay expenses resulting therefrom.

Wishful Events welcome any discussion prior to any booking be agreed regarding any and all terms stated and expressed within this document.

10. Purchases & Personalised Items

We offer a selection of items for sale, including personalised products.

Items will be dispatched within 3–5 working days unless otherwise agreed.

Personalised items are non-refundable unless faulty.

11. Refunds

Non-personalised items may be returned within 14 days in original condition and packaging. Return postage is the responsibility of the buyer.

Damaged items must be reported with photographic evidence.

12. Photography & Media Consent

Wishful Events may capture photographs and video content during events for portfolio, website, social media and marketing purposes.

We respect the privacy of all guests, particularly children.

Photography preferences are collected as part of our Craft Party Consent & Information Form, which must be completed prior to the event.

  • No identifiable images of children will be used without prior parental or guardian consent as indicated within the completed form.

  • Where consent is not given, we will make reasonable efforts to avoid capturing or using identifiable images of those individuals.

By attending a Wishful Events event, clients acknowledge that general event imagery (such as set ups, wide shots or non-identifiable content) may still be captured.

If at any time a client wishes for an image to be removed from our platforms, we will respond promptly upon written request.
